Apology to the medit plant purists but i'd just like to report on how
the mango seed i germinated is doing.
Right now its about 3 inches tall. One of its leaves is slowly
expanding, and it's got about three others on the way. Its interesting,
growing similar to how buckeye seeds germinated (the tap root coming
out first then the seedling kind of coming out of where the root
connects to the seed itself). Anyways, it has two visible taproots it
seems. One is thicker than the other. The stems a reddish brownish
green color. It seems to not mind growing indoors, and i keep the
shades open in the afternoon to allow sunlight to get to it.
I wasnt sure if the seed would germinate, but strangely i've had better
success with this than i have with avocado seeds.
