Lorraine might also like to try its more glamorous cousin - Pandorea
jasminoides. It is possibly a little less hardy than pandorana, but
not by much. Here it is a vigorous, attractive evergreen bearing
large clusters of velvety carmine throated, pink flowers over a very
long period. This time around, my plant started flowering in early
June and is still giving a good show, despite 2 frosts and masses of
rain recently. It has not showed any tendency to produce seed and old
clusters will often bear a second crop of flower a couple of months
later , almost in the same way as in Hoya carnosa.
