I whole heartedly agree with this suggestion. Objects add a nice touch to
any garden (except those tacky gnomes and trolls, of course :) ). I myself
have a cement statue of the Buddha (painted to look like blackened,
weathered bronze) in my garden backed up against some ferns. It looks
nice, and it's a subtle focal point. I prefer the more subtle objects
(rusted iron art, blackened wrought iron, or bronzes with a nice green
patina) to the bright painted objects i've seen in other peoples yards.
