Lorraine - That bunch of H. argutifolius/corsicus/lividus do indeed
make handsome plants and I wouldn't be without'em - but a word of
warning: if they love you, they tend to love you to death. Ie, they'll
self seed everywhere, in vast quantities. I have a friend with a
woodland garden in S.W. Scotland to whom they have become a serious
weed-problem, swamping and smothering anything smaller and more
fragile. So keep an eye open for seedlings and if they're not where
you want'em, pot'em up and pass'em on - quickly!
