Winter Meeting of So Cal Branch Medit Garden Society

Dear Nan,

Our Winter Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 10, 1:45 p.m., at
the Rancho Sana Ana Botanic Garden with Bart O'Brien, Director of
Horticulture and Curator of the Gardens, speaking to the group and
leading a tour of the grounds.  They should be glorious is early March,
ceanothus and Pacific Native iris in bloom, lots of California poppies
and other treasures, do try to join us.

Yonashiro, Secretary/Treasurer, dnsyonashiro@earthlink.net, be put on
the mailing list and receive all announcements of our activities.

Hope you enjoyed the wonderful rain.  4 inches here in Glendale, some of
which came into the house, not exactly where needed, but plants already
look better, and it may clear enough by tomorrow for the dreaded rose
pruning to go forward, about 50 done last week, another 60 plus to go.

I visited the Medit Garden website today looking for the dates of 
this year's No and So Cal meetings, but they are not there.  Can 
anyone tell me please when and where the two branches are meeting 
next?  And what is coming up?
