Bad frost last night

BAAAAd frost last night. When I walked out this morning, it looked
almost as if it had snowed. I grabbed my camera and took photos of
my vegetable beds covered in white. Also took some great close-ups
of arbutus and phlomis leaves covered in ice crystals.
Sadly, I think there is significant damage to several plants, my
precious salvias included. Some of the succulents are absolutely
mush!
I've covered some plants in newspaper for tonight, I expect that the
temps will be right around 30f
