Pawlonia tomentosa

I picked my seeds from the ground under a Pawlonia tomentosa at the locks
in Seattle. It is a gorgeous tree in that park like location and certainly
has plenty of its necessary rain water. My seeds geminated quickly and the
young trees grew fast too.
They have never flowered and one tall tree eventually died. They
absolutely hate it here in the hot Sacramento valley, Sutter Buttes.
There are a couple left on a hill that is just now getting some
irrigation. We will see if anything happens. Cross your fingers.
