We have oaks around us but not on our place. A brush fire several years
ago took out everything here. I am now going to replant and am looking for
suggestions. Due to some new neighbors, we want to increase our tree
plantings. We are looking for suggestions for something that will grow
rather quickly to 15 ft. or so.

We also want suggestions for some sort of bushy planting to hide a fence we
had to put in because of those same neighbors. Our location is northern
San Diego County about 35 miles inland at 1800' in a small east west
valley. Water is a concern as we have about an acre to do something with.
