Re: dividing restios

I know that it's difficult for mature restios to do well after division.  You'll also find out that restios don't divide without a struggle (second only to Strelitzia).

Vegetative propagation is usually done by removing outer, small clusters.  Breaking up the inner stuff leads to disappointment.

I have some potted restios that are in need of repotting - since they
are in active growth stage, I am thinking of doing it soon. Any
suggestions on how well they respond to dividing? And how to do it?

Thanks!
