It flowers autumn – late autumn so
needs water all summer to build up to flowering. Not much point if it looks
ratty thru dryness and produces few or no flowers. Trevor N. From:
owner-medit-plants@ucdavis.edu [mailto:owner-medit-plants@ucdavis.edu] On Behalf Of Catherine Ratner I'm not sure about the water needs, but I had trouble with snails and
wind and a squirrel. On Jan 12, 2009, at 9:28 AM,
I have been offered a tree dahlia from a friend's garden. I've never
grown them before so I looked them up and they appear to be rather thirsty
plants but I may still give it a try. Any words of experience or advice? ***************************************** Nan Sterman Plant Soup, Inc. TM T*@PlantSoup.Com Order your personalized copy of the all new Watch A Growing Passion now on YouTube! Search for all five
