Dear Jeanne,
the main stem (the nodes and rings along it) as well as secondary stem insertion are very similar to other
Araliaceae plants, the leaves seem to anounce to me a Shefflera spp.
Although i'm not 100% sure, may be a
Schefflera rhododendrifolia (syn. S. impressa)?
