Joanne,
I haven't grown the yellow form of L.leonurus but this year I got the white
form from Kirstenbosch BG in RSA.It germinated indoors at 70f in 6 days
(50%) in March. At the same time I sowed L. dysophylla which germinated at
70f in 4 days (80%).Both species were grown on indoors and planted out in
May, when frost-danger was past.L.dysophylla made a 7ft plant(it was over
3ft when planted out) and flowered and set seed.L.leonurus grew to only 4ft
and did not flower.I am waiting to see whether they survive the few degrees
of frost we have had this winter, with some peat and old branches heaped
round their roots.
