In regards to finding a white Alstromeria...
Last summer I was able to pick up an almost pure white form of
Alstromeria (I think there was some yellow or pink in the throat) from
Emerisa Nursery which is located between Santa Rosa and Sebastopol.
Their address is 555 Irwin Lane, Santa Rosa, California 95401. Phone
(707) 525 - 9600.
The 4th edition of the "Andersen Horticultural Library's Source List of
Plants & Seeds" lists a Alstromeria pelegrina 'Alba' available from
Dunford Farms, P.O. Box 238, Sumner, Washington 98390. You will have to
ask them how white the cultivar is.
If people would please put what town, state and plant climate zone they
garden in it would be helpful when looking for sources of plants or
giving growing instructions. Thanks.
