Nivenia, Klattia, and Witsenia

I came across a book [at the Timber Press website] called The Woody
Iridaceae by Peter Goldblatt. Curious, but unwilling to order the book
sight unseen, I looked these plants up in my own references [admittedly
limited] and searched the net, to no avail. 
Although I don't believe they are mediterranean in origin, I hoped some
members of this list might have some knowledge of them.
Does anyone grow these plants? 
[Have I, by any chance, walked right past them in Strybing arboretum a
thousand times without knowing it?]
