I have recently had a wall built in my garden here in the Algarve and one
part of it is 2 m high. On the south side I have Jasminium azoricum, Solanum
wendlandii and Wisteria sinensis growing, but what can I plant on the north
side? I don't know of many plants that like dry shade (although giving it
water wouldn't be a problem). I have a Monstera deliciosa growing on the
north side of the house and it is doing well producing several fruits that
are just going over. The Polystichum munitum (sword fern) goes mad in deep
shade but has anyone some more ideas what I can plant?
