Ive never had seedlings come up from the Kikuyu, but bou one stolon in
the ground and it sneakily spreads (maybe thats why its species name is
clandestinum). Anyways, we didnt even try beating the sand out of the
stolons, because we just put it in the backyard (i know i
know....contributed to it spreading there..). It was definately hard
work just pitchforking it and putting it into the wheel barrow.Ive also
noticed it has a tendency to build itself up. and make a deep dense
thatch if not trimmed.
