The Northern Cal. group who recently met at the UC Santa Cruz arboretum were
shown this plant on our tour, along with many other interesting Grevilleas,
but I didn't write down the species. Perhaps one of the other participants
can help out. Sean O'Hara brought a sample of his stinky Buddleia to that
meeting and we passed it around. It was pretty bad. I was surprised to see
several people sticking their noses in it and giving it a good whiff. Perhaps
this is one of those things that some people can smell more than others.
