Shrubby Secrets

Just a line to express thanks to all those who tried to solve the
riddles of my mystery shrubs. Most of those folks I've written to
privately at more length, in order not to take up excessive space here
- remembering that it was the asking of questions etc that led to that
spectacular exit the other day...! Personally  the give-and-take of
question-and-answer is one of the things I most enjoy about the list.
My climate and hence my interests are rather different from those of
the list's central membership, perhaps, but I learn a lot by
eavesdropping, even if I can't at the moment always use what I learn -
and anyway I can always dream... (And if I don't feel like dreaming,
use the delete button). 

So, thanks, everyone - and keep those questions coming...
