RE: Brachyglottis brunonia

I haven't seen any reply to this message so . . .  Brachyglottis brunonia was once Senecio brunonis.  A description in a book on wild flowers of southeast Australia says that it grows to 6-12' and has broad flat clusters of dark golden flowers.  The common name is tree senecio and it grows on Mt. Wellington and Mt. Dromedary in Tasmania.  Does this help?

Subject: Brachyglottis brunonia

Help! I've grown this from seed (don't ask why; 'because it was there,' of course...), knowing nothing about it apart from what, generally speaking, Brachyglottis are like. All the web can tell me, apparently, is that it's an endangered Tasmanian. Anyone (Moira? Gay?) know anything more about it? Conditions in wild? Likely hardiness level? Appearance? Virtues (if any!) as a garden plant?

TIA for any help.

Tim
