Welcome to the list Juan. It is always of special interest to us when we
get new members from the "real" Mediterranean". We do have a few other
correspondents from the region, but apart from one ot two in mainland
Spain most live much futher east than you.
Many of us in fact live outside the districts with a strictly Med. type
climate, but push the limits trying to grow the plants because we really
like them (and some of us also like the challenge of beating their local
climate!)
