RE: LEAF COLOR ON CISTUS SALVIIFOLIUS

I have both plants in my garden, and I also find them to have green rather than grey folliage. I don't see any diference in the leve color of both plants. Also all the C. salvifolius that grow wild around here are dark green and not grey or greyish.

In our garden in California, both these plants are green without a hint of grey.  The prostratus form is a bit lighter green (toward yellow rather than grey).  Both have the same soil, drainage, sun exposure.

The  RHS Index  and the Filippi Catalogue refer to the leaf colour of C. Salvifolius as grey-green or 'greyish' and make no distinction between the upright and prostrate forms.
