Hi folks -
I'm in a bit of a quandary. I'm trying to find a plant for a current project
- Cordyline stricta, and I'm having a devil of a time. The only thing I seem
to be able to find here in the San Francisco Bay Area is a cultivar called
'Soledad', which is completely different in character (I even wonder if it is
actually a different species!). The plant I am looking for is bushier, with
longer, narrower leaves that arches gracefully and reliably produces handsome
purple flowers:

If anyone has an idea where I might be able to find a specimen, especially a
largish one, I'd be most grateful.
Thanks,
Seán O.
