Hi Charles,
Thanks for the pat, pat, much appreciated. If anyone is interested in our Digest, they can access our Digest on line - payment options will appear on our web site August 1st. $15.00 for six issues plus additional photo albums with most issues.
I'm sending you a notice with details in a pdf file. It says see details on our web site but they are not there until August 1.
As for the second photo ..you were right. Both the largest plants are aloes. This photo doesn't show much of the plants. They have etiolated like that for lack of sufficient light. Aloes do not need full sun or want it but very bright light is a must. Otherwise they grow up and up and up. There are some nice pups forming though. I would slice those off close to the main stem, and pot them up to start new plants. If these were my plants I'd chuck the big aloes which will never return to normal form and start again with the small offsets. They will grow fairly quickly and you'll have very nice plants in no time.
The rest, once again, are sedums. Most sedums need full sun. If these are in need of sun they should be gradually moved from less light to sunshine and not put in sun suddenly or they will burn. The Jelly Beans Sedum is gorgeous if grown right. I had it for years.
Let me now if I can help further.

Hi Charles,
You are right about the Epiphyllum hybrid but not the Aloe. I don't see an aloe and this URL didn't work. I got nothing but blank when I call it up. Maybe the Aloe is on there?

Most of the plants are sedums - can't tell you what the species names are. It would take a while to research .. and
to tell the truth the plants are in bad shape so you can't really be sure what they'd look like if grown properly.
Anyhow .. the one I can give the species name is the red one bottom off center to the right. That is Sedum
rubrotinctum - common name Jelly Beans. Can't see much of that either but the color is distinctive.

A friend of mine who lives in Santa Rosa bought somewhat on a whim
about 20 or so plants, all succulents of some sort from an older woman
via Craigslist. I couldn't give her any specific species/cultivars
because I haven't really gotten into succulents, but I thought some of
you might be able to tell what she has. I'll post the links to each
picture she took below:

The only one I could tell was likely the Epiphyllum (I think) on the right.

Some sort of aloe with other succulents
Any ideas on what she bought? I'm guessing the woman she purchased
them from simply grew them without much knowledge of what they were.
Thank you!
Barry
