Re: Flavorful fruit

The CRFG lists 13 cultivars of pineapple guava.

The "Lifescape" fruit collection at SBCC has about 20 "varieties" (student selected).

I've eaten maybe 10 different edible varieties.  They all taste the same to me.  And the yield and size are about the same.

The key factor here is going to be availability.

And there are about 20 pomegranate cultivars, etc.

Hi All,
I'm thinking of planting a couple of Pineapple Guavas (Feijoa sellowiana, syn. Acca sellowiana) and a Pomegranate, for fruit as well as for looks..  Can anyone recommend varieties of either that bear especially tasty fruit?
