Are there any Maltese subscribers on this list? I'd be interested in
getting in touch with you. Sorry for the off-topic message folks. :)

I'm trying to gather support for reproposing a new newsgroup for Malta -
discussion on Malta (yes, you would be able to discuss Maltese plants!)
- if anyone on the list wants to help out reshape the proposal, or to help
us by voting and eventually using the new newsgroup, I have created a
moderated for this purpose. To join this list you need to send

"subscribe scmalta-l" (without the quotes) to majordomo@cis.um.edu.mt,
leave the message subject empty.

Again please forgive this mesage, but I believe my proposed new newsgroup
would also be a good forum for Maltese & mediterranean plants discussion.
Remember Malta is an island in the Mediterranean, and we have quite a bit
of mediterranean plants. don't ask me about them though as I don't know
anything about them :)
