Salvia 'Waverly' ?

I am pretty convinced that S. chiapensis in one of the species
involved in this beautiful hybrid.  The character of growth, the
consistent blooming, glossy leaves, and resemblance of the flower
form all seem to point clearly to this species.  S. 'Waverly' is a
real beauty, though I am only just about to grow it myself to test
it out for landscapes.  My guess is that perhaps S. leucantha might
be the other parent, though the genetic influence of that species
would be more subtle that the former.
