Hi medit listers,
This is the hottest summer I've ever experienced.
Yesterday my thermometer reached 42 degrees C with 85% of
relative humidity.
In the last month, thousands of acres of woods and
mediterranean maquis has burned particularly here in the
south.
Calabria, Sardinia and Sicily are the most damaged
zones and every summer things are getting worse.
Sadly, arson is here a summer sport.
In this inferno I'm thinking about a
trip to London during my holidays first of all to
visit Kew and other gardens and after to get a little fresh
in the rainy english summer........
Any advice about gardens, nurseries, bookshops etc to
visit?
Thanks in advance
Paolo
