Dear Barbara,

I don't know the best way but what I do works for me.
I take 3 to 4 inch cuttings from fairly new growth and
propagate
them under mist  in a warm greenhouse.  Sometimes I use
rooting
hormones, sometimes not.  I haven't noticed any big
difference.

I would have thought that this was too much moisture but it
works.
I've done it as early as May and late as October.
