I was reading about this plant on the web (I becvame interested because
its one of the vegetables used in Filipino cooking, the Tagalog name is
"malunggay"), and it seems like an interesting plant. Have any of you
seen it growing in your areas? Some of the websites i visited say its
drought resistant, if hit by a hard freeze will come back by sprouting
from its roots, needs to be pruned, has nutritious leaves, the seeds
can be eaten, the roots of young trees can be eaten like horseradish,
and it can grow to 8 feet in 6 months!.
