brachypodium ramosum was Stenotaphrum

oops, olivier,
I said stenotaphrum when I wanted to say brachipodium ramosum.
that is the one that grows wild in my garden, and was wondering whether to entice it into the lawn to be.
the soil is now raked and bare.
ph 8, stony and free draining.

Francisco,

I don't know if Stenotaphrum really produces seeds though it flowers well : I thought it was sterile but I may be wrong. Be careful not to mistake it for Pennisetum clandestinum (which produces seeds, and is a real pest), both are unfortunately called "kikuyu" by mistake in Europe (only Pennisetum clandestinum should be called Kikuyu). Stenotaphrum makes a good lawn by itself, but you have to give it some water.
