Mark - S. impressa if from Yunnan ought to be near enough to Bleddyn
W-J's collecting patch. I wonder if he has it... I have to be in touch
with him shortly and will ask. I do recommend his S. taiwaniana as
seriously beautiful - I assume that  apart from the single specimen in
the garden he has others coming on in the nether regions for eventual
sale to the occasional crazed enthusiast....

Just back from a v. different but also v. beautiful gardening world -
1000ft up in the Lanarkshire hills, where you can get frost every
month of the year -
