OK, I've about at the end of my rope here folks!
I've been trying to track down a couple of plants for Olivier Filippi, who
is leaving California next Wednesday. One of these is Rosmarinus off.
'Jen's Blush'. I have a plant from Berkeley Hort. Nursery that is doing
poorly (planted wrong, hopefully), but they know nothing about it at this
point. It bloomed for the first time for me this spring, with raspberry
colored flowers! Wonderful! The next is a wooly, gray thing called
Siditis? (or Sidites?). It looks like a cross between a Phlomis and a
Stachys - very nice. We've seen it around town but it is apparently
nowhere to be found at the moment. We saw a plant in flower - above a nice
tidy mound of the wooly foliage were thin, tall, branches spikes that were
abruptly green as they leave the tomentose foliage, with widely spaced
clumps of yellow-green flowers. Quite nice!!
If anyone can help me figure out a source for these two, I'd be most
appreciative, either before Wednesday or after!
Thanks
Sean O.
