I had only brief acqauntance several years ago with is species here, as
it proved very definitely winter tender in my garden, not only on the
high terrace where my other lavenders grow, but even even in a pot in
my sheltered growing area. Although it was an attractive plant with its
true-blue flowers I was disappointed in the lack of any actual lavender
scent. To me anyway the flowers smelt of nothing and I do not recollect
noticing the smell of the foliage..
