mallow ID?

 A neighbor has had a mallow that comes back every year and was wondering what it is. Narrow, about 3 ft. high, soft felted light gray-green leaves, light pink half-inch flowers. The leaves attract insects -- many holes. Has not reseeded. I have photos.
