Miscanthus sinensis "Yaku Jima"

I bought this really nice cultivar of the taller M. sinens ( This one grows
3-4 feet high). Since this is a dwarf i was wondering when to divide these? I
dont want to make a move till i know when the best time is. I would really
hate to lose this one because of a wrong move!
