Hello Tim,

P. radiata appears to have a maximum lifespan of 110-120 years.
Many years back, when our kids were fairly small, we went on a holiday
to Nelson, and in the gardens of an historic house at Stoke there were
some 7-8 mature P. radiata which were then around 110 years old - and
HUGE!

When we went back to Nelson again some years later and went to visit the
same garden, most if not all the trees had gone, they had either fallen
down themselves, or been removed because they becoming very unsafe.

Obviously, these plantings, so early on, were seedlings and probably not
closely like the modern selected varieties, but judging by the speed
with which the modern ones grow, I would not expect them to last longer
than the older ones.
