Olive leaves as medicine

I am writing an article for theTFG newsletter on olives.
I would like to say more about the medicinal properties of olive leaves.
Could anyone add anything please?
This is what I have written so far:
"We know that olive oil protects against heart disease and is often used
in cosmetics (it helps wrinkles and is good for dry skin) but Annette
Benson -The Fragrant Garden Resident Herbalist - first told me about the
medicinal properties of olive leaves which she regularly harvests from our
trees. Olive leaf tea is a great diuretic and helps reduce uric acid
levels in the body. Olive leaf tea therefore helps gout and some forms of
arthritis. James Duke (writing in his book "The Green Pharmacy"- now
available in the bookshop-see review in the last newsletter) says that in
1993 a Japanese researcher showed that about four cups of olive leaf tea a
day increased daily urine output by 10% to 15% and lowered uric acid levels
in the blood."
