Late summer/fall flowers

In addition to the epilobium canum (old zauschneria) for fall, a good plant
for dry soil is lessingia californica (was called corethrogyne). This is a
gray-leaved non-woody bush-like plant, usually no more than about 15 inches
high. It loves sun, and produces lots of pinkish/purple daisy flowers in
succession for a long time. When established it needs little or no water.
