Por Tim
At least you can treat _yourself - to a bit of artificial heat if you
want!!
the day here started with a touch of frost (0C on our sheltered outside
thermometer), but at 10.45 the sun is pouring down from a cloudless blue
sky and the temp has climbed to 10. Not bad just before the shortest
day.(Though I have to admit the early part of the week was ovecast with
rain!)
I am only waiting for Tony to join me for morning coffee and then I will
take off outside, We have our eldest son coming tomorrow to uproot an
apple tree (surplus to requirements) to take back to his farmlet. When
this is gone we have another tree from an unsuitable site to replace it.
Real musical chairs. Today I have to prune the tree which is leaving and
rescue all the double primroses which grow around its feet.
Cheers
Moira
