Santolina mystery

Hi Paul,

Your desciption looks like Santolina neapolitana, which is a very nice species with finely cut, feathery foliage, longer and wider than that of Santolina chamaecyparissus.

There are three forms usually available in trade : Santolina neapolitana the type, with bright yellow flowers , Santolina neapolitana 'Edward Bowles', beautiful white silvery leaves and nice lemon flowers (my favourite), and Santolina neapolitana 'Sulfurea' with pale cream flowers.
