Hi
not sure whether anyone else has answered you or not - I have never
personally grown G. thunbergia but there is a lovely mature specimen in the
century old gardens of the Burnley Horticultural College in Melbourne - it
is in a fairly moist protected partly shaded area - I think that I can
remember my lecturer at the time that I first met its acquaintance saying
that it was fairly slow growing - the Burnley plant was a small tree around
3-4m from memory - apparently it is the best species for more temperate
locations (eg Melbourne rather than Sydney)
