I'm actually surprised at how few fruit trees there are in my town. I
know many can grow here and I have seen them in a few yards, but not many.
I've also seen loquats being grown but their owners seem to not eat the
fruits. It seems like people here grow the trees just for display and not
for any other use. I also don't see hardly any fig trees at all. There is
just one I know of, and it looks like its owners dont harvest the fruit,
which is a shame. Perhaps if we ever get the backyard cleared of weeds and
graded, i may purchase a fig tree (if I can talk my parents into it).
