Perhaps if we ever get the backyard cleared of weeds and
graded, i may purchase a fig tree (if I can talk my parents into it).
No need to buy one, Barry. They grow easily from cuttings. Find one you
like in someone else's yard and ask for a cutting. Or go to a Calif Rare
Fruit Grower's meeting (check out the exchange in January) and get a bunch
of unusual varieties for free or next to nothing.
Did ya know there were dwarf varieties too?
