I'm not an expert on this species, but as to Passiflora in general, they sometimes take a long
time to come out of dormancy, and then begin to rocket skyward - I think it may depend on the
temperature; I am still waiting for any leaves to arrive on an aboviously green stem of
another variety, that had been planted last fall (it's neighbor, P.mollissima, has just
awakened and is shooting upward); not one to give up on sugglish plants easily, I would take
it along;
OTOH, you might try saving a lot of space and weight by unpotting it, and carefully (they
don't like their roots broken) wrapping the roots in damp peat moss in a plastic bag
