Same thing happened in near by Salinas. It was at one of the parks there,
and it blew over in a storm, falling onto a car and killing a baby.
Now that i posted a downer, i'll mention what i do like about some. I
prefer the finer leaved smaller eucs. Such as E. nicholii. E. ficifolia (i
hope that's right), is a favorite because it blooms so spectacularly. I
prefer them to have smaller stature, and showy flowers. But, i do hear
Mindanao Gum is a nice tall one (sorry, no latin, i'm at work and away
from my books). I also like the Ghost gums, with their smooth white
trunks.
