First, David, thanks so much for your descriptions of your spring bloomers. Your
descriptions are so clear and tempting. I've been giving Google a workout trying to find
pictures of all those plants I've never heard of. I think it might be time for you to do a
digital camera inventory of your garden through the year for us!
Just now, looking for Lobelia laxiflora, I came across a site with a good picture and a
wonderful, brightly written description that made me think, now there's someone I'd like
to meet. At the end of the entry was the note, Catalog description by Gary Matson. It
caught at my heart to see the name unexpectedly, but I was glad to feel that we can still
