These were recommended to me as the best proteas and
relatives for alkaline soils where it might get cold
in the winter:
Banksia ericifolia
Banksia marginata
Banksia seminuda
Banksia spinulosa
Grevillea 'Canberra'
Grevillea 'Constance'
Grevillea 'Pink Pearl'
Leucadendron 'Safari Sunset'
Leucodendron salignum
Protea susannae
Protea 'Sylvia'
I may have already posted a couple of these.
I throw these all out, of course, for further comments
from those who have had actual cold-winter expeience
with them.
