Don, I've yet to see a passion vine that didn't thrive in San Diego.
The best seletion is at Kartuz nursery in Vista (south Vista whereas
Exotica is on the northern edge of Vista) Mike Kartuz has a website
as well, with information and photos

I also did an article on passion vines in San Diego for the June 2000
issue of San Diego Home Garden Lifestyles Magazine if you can put
your hands on a copy.
