Hi folks,
We saw this splendid plant, having seen it at Roger Raiche and David McCrory's wonderful garden in Berkeley, CA, against the sunset with a gentle breeze moving its leaves (fronds?). When we saw one for sale several years ago at Dry Garden Nursery in Oakland, we snapped it up. We have moved it twice, to make it more visible, and this winter we have this 6+ feet tall bloom stalk. My question is what do we do with this stalk? Do we cut it back, and when? Perhaps a kind Antipodean knows?
Thanks. Judy Person, Pleasanton, CA
