Try
the pink jonquil, Bell Song. Fragrant, too!
If you
like pink bulbs, you might also try the species tulip T. saxatilis. It has pink
flowers with a large egg-yolk-yellow spot on the inner base of the flower. I
have mine growing in a thimbleful of soil tucked between the roots of a
50-year-old Modesto Ash, and they've thrived there for ten
years.
